Prior to 2016, Hive Media Group existed as an AdTech company focused on developing technologies to scale and monetize web traffic. When our CEO came onboard in  2016 he decided to transition the operations to become a publishing business.

Since then, we’ve continued to double our business year after year. Naturally, one of the challenges with scaling new websites is that it takes years to develop domain authority, traffic sources, and scale revenue so we figured: why not reach out to other entrepreneurs who are running good businesses that we know we could add value to?

From there, HMG Capital was born as the mergers and acquisitions arm of Hive Media Group, a company built up of industry professionals that have been operating successful media businesses for years. We’re proud to say that much of our staff came to our company through acquisitions and stayed on to help the company grow and thrive.
